It is not a true oil but a waxy ester; the sebum which our skin produces is also a waxy ester. Sebum protects and moisturises your skin. This is why Jojoba oil is easily absorbed.

I have been using this beautiful product for over 5 years it�??s all I use on my face! In addition to using it as a moisturiser I use a little on a pad to remove eye makeup. Smooth and gentle. Love it!
